Intimate and Romantic - The 1900 Inn on Montford invites you to be our guest and discover bed and breakfast comfort and hospitality with a warmth and graciousness that is reminiscent of Biltmores Gilded Age. The Inn has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored to create the inviting ambience of past splendor and elegance. The residence was designed in 1900 by Richard Sharp Smith, Supervising Architect for Biltmore House. Today it is an elegant AAA Four Diamond Bed and Breakfast furnished with English and American antiques dating from 1670 to 1910.

All of the exquisite rooms have private ensuite baths, king size beds, and fireplaces. All bathrooms have showers. Four bathrooms have whirlpool baths and one a clawfoot tub. Griffin Cottage, our new carriage house has three deluxe accommodations the William Morris room and the Rossetti suite on the ground floor and the 1300 sq ft Cloisters as the entire second floor. Tumbled marble is used throughout for the floors and shower walls. All have separate showers with steam baths and two person whirlpools. The living room in the Cloisters features hand-carved paneling. All rooms have wired and wireless high speed Internet access.
